HI ALL SOPAC SWIM TEAM MEMBERS!   The SOPAC Swim Team has just completed at the 2009 Sydney Metropolitan Championships here at SOPAC over the weekend with some awesome results! Downoload the results here - PDF Overall the team place in 7th position on 976 points out of the 73 teams that had swimmers qualify for these championships! Each year the SOPAC Swim Team has improved on their pointscore as last year we finished in 8th position on 902 points and way back in 2007 we finished in 12th position on 275 points! Wow what a great improvement! The team had 33 swimmers compete in 113 events and we won 6 GOLD, 5 SILVER, 7 BRONZE, and had a further 30 TOP TEN places! The 33 swimmers that competed were: Rachel Adams, Nina Armstrong-Rider, Chris Ashwood 1 Bronze, David Ashwood, Jessica Ashwood 2 Gold & 1 Silver, Joachim Bardrum 1 Silver, Felicity Burnett 1 Bronze, Eun Jee Cho, Yong Wan Cho, Beatrice Collard, Angela Cox, Nikolas Damianakis, Tristian Daniell 1 Bronze, Mitchell Dixon 2 Bronze, Jordan Fotaras, Eric Hamilton, Lachlan Hansen, Hayden Hinds-Sydenham 2 Gold, 1 Silver & 1 Bronze, Nicolas Iorfino, Justin Kim, Johnathan Le Schultz, Annika Linder, Ryuki Matsumura, Olivia Miu, Mikayla O’Connor 1 Bronze, Theo Pasialis 2 Gold, Andrea Patrulescu 2 Silver, Alex Patrulescu, Jorden Pavlovski, Alex Sheil, Katya Shliapnikoff, Emmanuel Vardakis and Michaela Zipkis.
