From breaking world records to Gala dinner's its all in a day at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre!

SOPAC's Event Team put on a night to remember.

Its 6pm on the 15th April 2008 at SOPAC the first of the guest arrive. As they walk through the entrance to reveal the  transformation from pool to Gala Dinner. With lighting, silk sails, crisp white linen, silver & royal blue balloons, guests enjoyed soaking in the atmosphere with a glass of Champaign on the bridge before taking their seats pool side.   The night started with a stunt dive from the 10m-dive tower mimicking the CEO to get things going.  The n the band set  a elegant mood as the first course was served.

No senses left untouched; with taste buds being tantalised with a lavish 4-course meal cooked by no other then Mr Eddie Coffee and his team.

Each course gave way to a new experience. From the elegance of the synchronised swimmers to NSWIS death defying diving extravaganza, a little culture with the Aboriginal dancers and concluding the night with a touch of technology thanks to the laser man shining his rase.
