Supported by the NSW Institute of Sport (NSWIS) and Swimming Australia the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is seeking the services of a highly experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic individual to fill the role of High Performance Swim Coach to manage the SOPAC Squad Program. |

KEY JOB REQUIREMENTS |
The High Performance Coach will be responsible for the following:
- Providing high performance coaching services to targeted elite athletes at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre with the goal of optimising performances of these athletes nationally and internationally.
- Planning, co-ordinating and delivering a day-to-day high performance training program.
- Improving, monitoring and evaluating elite athlete performances.
- Develop a high quality training and competition plan.
- Liase and communicate with the NSWIS/SNSW Head Coach and SOPAC Management.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to Head Coach and sub-ordinate squad coaches.

SELECTION CRITERIA |
The successful applicant will have the following essential criteria:
- Gold Coaching License or International equivalent
- High Performance Sport Coaching qualifications or relevant tertiary qualifications
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate/Resuscitation Certificate
- A minimum five years of elite swim coaching experience
- Proven success in coaching elite swimmers at an international level
- Ability to identify, initiate and monitor high performance services
- Ability to develop, manage and lead an international training program
- High level management and organisational skills
- Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills
