Pool Attendant (Full Time) |

Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is seeking the services of a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Permanent Pool Attendant. |
| Key Duties |
Reporting to the Pool Supervisor, the Pool Attendant has specific responsibilities such as-
- Responsible for the effective and efficient organisation and management of their shift team in day-to-day operations. Maintain order and control with particular attention to safety and proper use of the Centre’s resources.
- Implement and monitor the use of facilities by public and sporting groups in accordance with the Centre’s programs and policies.
- Ensure that regular and proper maintenance of pool equipment and facilities is carried out, and supervise and maintain sanitation and cleanliness of the Centre to required standards.

Selection Criteria |
The successful applicant will need to address the following selection criteria:
- Effective written and oral communication skills.
- Pool Lifeguard Certificate, Senior First Aid Certificate, Advance Resuscitation Certificate.
- Experience in an aquatic environment including supervision of staff and co-ordination of aquatic sporting events.

| Other Details |
- Regular out of hours, weekend and public holiday work will be required as the centre trades 7 days per week, and only flexible applicants will be considered.
- This position has been designated as a child related employment. The successful applicant will be subject to the NSW Working with Children Check.
- Only Australian citizens or permanent Australian residents are eligible to apply.

Reporting to the Pool Supervisors & Permanent Pool Attendants, the Casual Pool Attendant has specific responsibilities such as-
- Provide flexible working hours and be available at least 3 days per week, one of those being a weekend day.
- Be responsible for day-to-day pool duty operations.
- Be a positive and enthusiastic member of staff.
The position involves shift work as the Centre trades 7 days per week, and only flexible applicants will be considered |

- Current Pool Lifeguard course.

- Bronze Medallion.
- Advanced Resuscitation
- Relevant Industry experience
