On Friday 23 September members of the SOPAC Swim Team helped organise and run another very successful invitational carnival. This carnival is opened to all swimmers of the Swim School from the higher end of learn to swim to our development squads. It was a great night of racing with the emphasis on fun and enjoyment and a great way for our future members to commence their very first swimming experience. At the moment the SOPAC Swim Team currently has 108 swimmers and 68 non–swimmers signed up for the 2011/2012 season, and on behalf of the SOPAC Swim Team committee we would like to welcome all of our new members.
