Salary
Casual Rate $26.80 per hour + super +weekend penalty rates


About the Role

Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre is seeking the services of a skilled and motivated individual to fill the role of Casual Membership Advisor.
This is an opportunity to join an organisation that is an industry leader in aquatic and leisure management.

The Membership Advisor's primary responsibility is to actively sell new memberships through the set sales procedure. By ensuring that all sales tasks are completed on a daily basis, as per the sales system, you will assist the team in achieving membership targets as set by the Manager.

You will have a strong ability to build and maintain relationships to promote a secure and dedicated membership base, have a friendly and proactive attitude, be able to work unsupervised, and possess the capacity to understand the needs of customers from culturally diverse backgrounds.

Important: Applicants must be available to work during weekdays peak hours (4pm-8pm) and weekends.

To be Successful in the Role

  • First Aid Certificate

  • Current CPR

  • Work With Children Check

  • Demonstrated experience in a sales-specific role

  • Previous working experience within a Health Club environment

  • Intermediate to Advanced PC and Office suite skills and experience

  • Availability to weekdays and weekends

Other Details
  • The successful applicant will need to provide the Sydney Olympic Park Authority with a Working With Children Check Number, or make a Working With Children Check application, either on-line or via phone, through the NSW Office of the Children's Guardian. An Application fee of $80 applies.

  • Australian citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply (supporting documentation required).
  • Non-Australian citizens must hold and continue to hold the necessary visa and work permits appropriate to the employment.
