  • Public Holiday crowds: Monday 9 June 
    The Park is expecting over 80,000 visitors on Monday for NRL Bulldogs vs Eels (Accor Stadium) and Katy Perry (Qudos Bank Arena). There will be heaver traffic on the roads around the precinct. When leaving or entering the Park leave early and allow extra travel time. Use transportnsw.info to plan your trip and check live traffic updates at livetraffic.com.

    The busiest time periods will be:
    ‣ 2pm – 4pm
    ‣ 6pm – 7:30pm

  • Noise Notification:Please be advised that Sydney Showground have issued a Sound Notice for the "Hyperdome" event being held on Saturday 7th June from 4pm - midnight. There may be intermittent noise on Friday 6th June due to sound testing. For event related sound level enquiries please contact the Event Noise Hotline 02 9714 7310
  • Site works: See our site works page on mySOP Engage for updates on projects which may cause some disruption to normal conditions. Call outs for this week include:

    ‣ Closure of Woo-la-ra carpark (Hill Road) ongoing for Parramata Light Rail Stage 2 
    ‣ 11/06/2025 Murray Rose Ave – restricted access for crane dismantling 
    ‣ Temporary closure of Louise Sauvage Pathway (in next few weeks) 

  • Development Application: Landscape restoration works 
    Site: Bennelong Parkway adjacent to 2 Murray Rose Avenue
    Proposal: Landscape restoration works on Bennelong Parkway adjacent to 2 Murray Rose Avenue, including retaining works, paths, stormwater and landscaping.

    Any person may make a written submission concerning this application. Submissions must be made through the NSW Planning Portal during the notification period, ending Monday 16 June 2025. More information.

  • Event Parking in P5A and P5C: Please note that on 15 and 22 June 2025 from 6am to midnight the P5C car park will be operated by boom gate and have the standard hourly rates $7/hr, $35/day. The meters will be turned off. This is due to multiple events occurring in the precinct and parking will overflow to P5A and P5C.
  • Changed Parking Conditions in the Parklands – Stage 2: Changed parking conditions in the parklands will be extended to the carparks which service Wentworth Common and the Archery Centre. This is currently scheduled for implementation mid June 2025 and will involve the same technology and metering approaches as Bicentennial Park, Blaxland Riverside park and P5b and P5c  carparks.
