  • Good Friday crowds - Plan ahead
    The Park is expecting record-breaking crowds this Good Friday (18 April). With over 160,000 visitors anticipated, the Park will be busy.

    Expect heaver traffic on the roads around the precinct. When leaving or entering the Park leave early and allow extra travel time.

  • Public holiday office closures 
    The Sydney Olympic Park Authority office will be closed on ANZAC Day 25 April. Please use the ‘Contact Us’ form and we will respond as soon as possible.
  • Sydney Royal Easter Show: Road closures and information 
    Sydney Royal Easter Show 2025 takes place in the Park between Friday 11 April – Tuesday 22 April. Fencing infrastructure and road closures begin 28 March. Please note Wentworth Common will be closed from Friday 4th April to Friday 25th April. There are a number of road closures designed for safety and movement of large crowds and traffic. Please read the information carefully as there are changes to usual conditions that our local community would be familiar with.

  • Brickpit Ring Walk - Access Changes  
    Due to the Sydney Royal Easter Show, access to the Brickpit Ring Walk will change as follows:

    Fri 4 April – Thurs 24 April: Fully closed
    Fri 25 April – Wed 30 April: only accessible via Marjorie Jackson Parkway entry
  • Site works and safety
    Wentworth Common: playground works continue including filling in the existing pond and extending the playground area. Please note Wentworth Common will be closed for the Royal Easter Show from Friday 4th April to Friday 25th April.

    Bicentennial Park Treillage: Safety rectification works to the Treillage stairs have been completed and the Treillage is now open. Please use paved areas only around this site while planting is undertaken on the surrounding landscape.

    Bicentennial Park Fitness Station: The fitness station remains closed due to safety concerns regarding the soft fall surfacing. We are currently seeking funding for rectification works and intend to upgrade some of the fitness equipment and signage at the same time. An update will be provided as soon as possible.

    Louise Sauvage Pathway (LSP): The decomposed path works leading from LSP to Blaxland will be completed by 11th April. Bunker 33 landscapes are complete. The LSP path network landscapes is progressing in stages and will continue over the next weeks, these works are predominately weed clearing and mulching either side of the pathways plus the placement of sandstone rocks/blocks at locations where illegal access and dumping is occurring.
