  • Multi event days 13 & 14 September
    This weekend is a bumper sporting weekend around the precinct with tennis, athletics, swimming and cheerleading taking place at our sporting venues, at the same time the Baby Expo and Cirque Du Soleil will take place along with a number of other events.

    Patrons are advised to plan their trip as there will be increased traffic and road closures in place.

  • Noise Notification
    The Athletic Centre is set to host several school carnivals over the coming weeks with championships being held on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 September.

    These events are expected to generate increased noise from the public address system as well as from the crowd. You can view the Athletic Centre event calendar here.

  • Public notices
    The community may provide feedback about the granting of a proposed licence agreement for Artist Programs at Newington Armory.

  • Temporary pedestrian access closure on Hill Road:
    To prepare for the Hill Road upgrade widening works, from Wednesday 17 September 2025 Transport for NSW will be temporarily closing pedestrian access on the eastern side of Hill Road between Carter Street and John Ian Wing Parade for approximately 6 months. During this time pedestrians will need to detour around the area. Please allow up to 25 minutes extra time in your journey. View more information.
